Email is the way to reach us, and it is the only channel we monitor. Write to the address below and your message goes straight to the people who run the site — there is no ticket queue, no phone line, and no chatbot in between.

We read every message that arrives and reply as soon as we reasonably can. Please be patient if it takes a little while; this is a free service and messages are answered by people, in order.

If something is not working, the fastest route to a fix is a message we can act on without a round trip of questions. Tell us the exact Facebook link you were trying to use, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened instead, including any error text word for word.

It also helps enormously to know which browser and version you are using, whether you are on a phone, tablet, or desktop, and which operating system you are on. If the problem is visual, a screenshot says more than a paragraph.

Please do not send us your Facebook password or any other account credential. We will never ask for one, we cannot use one, and we do not want it in our inbox.

If you are a copyright owner or an authorised agent and you believe content has been made accessible through this site in a way that infringes your rights, please send your notice to the same email address and mark the subject line clearly as a copyright notice.

Our DMCA page sets out exactly what a valid notice needs to contain. Including those elements in your first message lets us act without having to write back for more information.

Suggestions are genuinely welcome. A large part of what the downloader can do today started as a message from someone who wanted a format, a quality option, or a clearer button.

Bug reports are just as valuable. Facebook changes its platform regularly and a change on their side can quietly break a category of link; a specific report from a visitor is often the first sign that something needs attention.

If you want to discuss advertising or a partnership, use the same address and say so in the subject line so it does not sit behind support messages.

We are not Facebook and we have no relationship with Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc. We cannot recover a locked, hacked, suspended, or deleted account, restore deleted posts, remove content from Facebook, reveal who viewed a profile, or pass a complaint to anyone at that company. All of that has to go through Facebook's own support channels.

We also cannot help you download private content. If a post is not public, the tool will not retrieve it and we will not provide a workaround — that limit is deliberate.

Finally, we cannot tell you whether a particular download is legal for you. That depends on where you live and on what you intend to do with the file, and it is a question for a qualified professional rather than for us.
